Halina & Jacek Dutkiewicz, Founders of H&J Solutions, LLC

We are seasoned professionals with decades of experience in industrial and academic research as well as experts in product, market and business development. We are both educators and facilitators in applying technical and scientific knowledge to practical business-driven solutions based on innovation and intellectual property protection. We have a long record of accomplishments both documented and published in patent literature, in books, technical journals, conference proceedings as well as undocumented and confidential reports, guarded by major industry entities. 

Our mission is to create value by helping business and technical professionals develop new technologies and products to meet their customers' and consumers’ needs.

Halina was PD Manager working for industrial R&D and Founder of cosmetology and skin therapy businesses in Europe and in the U.S. As University Professor she was also teaching chemistry. She also has unique experience in textile chemistry. She authored and co-authored technical papers, handbooks and is a co-inventor of patented inventions in the cosmetology and skin wellness area.

Jacek is former Kimberly-Clark's Research Fellow and Technical Leader, Georgia-Pacific's retired Senior Research Fellow and, in the past, he held professorial and administrative positions at universities in the U.S., Europe and in Africa. He authored "Nonwovens Structures for Absorption of Body Fluids", a book published by EDANA and "Advances in Polymer Materials for Medicine and Hygiene" published by Polish Academy of Science. Jacek is an inventor / co-inventor of over 100 patents. 

H&J Solutions Founders have broad industrial and academic experience and expertise in absorbent technology, absorbent products (diapers, feminine hygiene, adult incontinence products), absorbent materials (natural and synthetic fibers, natural-based and synthetic superabsorbents, nonwovens, especially airlaids), and natural polymers (chitin, chitosan, cellulose). 

We offer support and assistance in problem solving, innovation, training and in protection of intellectual property. We can also share our experience and knowledge in using effectively product evolution and development process tools such as lean product development and customized phase-gate system.
